![]() And I know he didn't like the game because of the reasons stated above, as it didn't feel like KH to him.)Īnyway, it was an interesting/fun idea that I wouldn't mind if they'd refine it and bring it back again someday, like Ruran said. (Mind you, I'm just going off of what I think I heard from my future hubby a long time ago. So you win by being a jerk and by destruction? Or something like that. Like, apparently to win, you want to screw over the other player (which is not KH like), so that they destroy the world (very, very unlike KH). However, what's really interesting about this game is that apparently it's the opposite of what KH preaches? That's what my bf says, anyway. I also have the starter set, but only had it for collectable reasons. ![]() My boyfriend played the game with his brothers, I think (as they had a few decks of it). The box also came with a mat and an instruction DVD. From what I recall of the game, you have to "complete" the thirteen world cards some how, and who ever clears them first, wins. Since it's based on CoM I think there were two starter deck: one for Sora and one for Riku), friend cards, magic/friend cards (they're basically "summons"), Heartless, attack (Keyblades), magic, and world cards. You have forty cards, one player card affiliated with either light or darkness (in this case, Sora. Though, I wouldn't recommend hitting people with them or anything. I haven't read through the instruction booklet yet, but from what I can see, it's clearly based on Chain of Memories and the cards have the same basic mechanic of that of the game. The one starter deck I have for that game was clustered with my KH cards. Unfortunately, the KH TCG just wasn't popular enough for that sort of thing.Īfter dangerous climbing and and mass excavation of my closet until I found my not-so-treasured starter deck I found out one important thing. I have the basic Sora starter deck, which is the most basic and common one, and even an entire starter box goes for less than $40. After taking a quick look, it seems that an entire booster box can for about $100-200.
